Restorative Yoga

Restorative Yoga - 4 week introduction

Overworked and overstressed bodies, crave time to rest. Learn the basics to restoring your well-being with the use of props (blankets, cushions and bolsters are provided) to create positions which support deep states of relaxation. The emphasis during this 4 week session is on dissolving tension, soothing your nervous system and cultivating stillness. Restorative yoga is not about moving dynamically and increasing flexibility, it is about passively opening and gently supporting the body.

Deep Relaxation

Step into a warm, quiet, candle lit sanctuary and rest your overworked and overstressed mind and body. The emphasis of this specialty class is on dissolving tension, soothing your nervous system and cultivating stillness. Deep Relaxation is achieved by moving through a series of slow and gentle yoga postures and then restoring your well-being by using props (blankets, cushions and bolsters are provided) to create positions which will take you into a deep state of relaxation.
